About Fischer Farms
Our Farm
Mike and Lilly are embarking on a new venture: Fischer Farms! We've affectionately given our gardening hobby this fun name with a goal of transforming sections of our backyard into a micro urban "farm". Spanning over an acre of land, we aim to cultivate an assortment of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Our commitment lies in embracing sustainable farming methods to guarantee the health and purity of our produce, devoid of harmful chemicals.
We're also huge supporters and growers for CA Native Plants and pollinator gardens (large or small). For now, this site is an educational page and an ongoing journal to share with our friends and family who want to experience our adventures in urban farming.

At our farm market, you will find an extensive array of fresh and delectable offerings, including seasonal produce and homemade baked goods. We'll also showcase a range of locally crafted artisanal items like honey, teas and jams. Operating throughout the year, our market will feature special events and seasonal activities suitable for the entire family. Ours is a gardening hobby fueled by a deep passion for everything good in the world.
Our Community
At Fischer Farms, we are dedicated to supporting our local community. We work closely with fellow gardeners and producers to promote local agriculture and advocate for sustainable farming and gardening practices. Our plans include offering educational tours and workshops for schools and community groups to teach them about the importance of urban farming and the origins of their food.
As a certified UC Master Gardener in Ventura County, I am passionate about sharing science-based knowledge and helping local friends, neighbors, and families with gardening and water-wise California native plant landscape planning and implementation. Additionally, we will donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that support our community.
